Founder
Benoit Vaucher, PhD, CFA
Over the last 10 years, Ben has been investing in global equities and multi-asset portfolio. He started his career at RiskMetrics, then Unigestion where he developed the strategies and portfolio construction tools for the multi-billion minimum variance strategy franchise. At Lombard Odier, he was responsible for managing large institutional equity portfolio and launched a range of quantitative strategies exploiting equity premia. He was then hired by Syz AM to help set-up and lead the Systematic Investments Group which managed innovative multi-assets and equity long-short UCITS funds. A strong science and technology advocate, Ben has published in academic journals on topics such as portfolio construction, equity premia, Solvency, derivatives and hedging.
He holds an engineering degree from the Ecole Polytechnique de Lausanne (EPFL) and a PhD in theoretical physics from Oxford University (Merton College).

Claude Cornioley, PhD
Claude began his career in finance at the Banque Cantonale de Genève in 1994 by contributing to the creation of the investment fund company Synchrony SA. A pioneer in asset management, he has developed in 1996 a range of index products covering several equity and bond markets. He was appointed head of Synchrony Asset Management SA in 1998. He joined Dynagest SA in 1999, as associate director and member of the board of directors, in charge of quantitative management, indexing, enhanced indexing and asset allocation. He joined Syz Asset Management SA in 2015 to manage multi-assets portfolios using proprietary risk-based techniques. From 2005 to 2013, he served as Chairman of the Board and responsible for the investments of the Collective Foundation FCPE-Pensio. Since 2017, he is a board member of the Investment Committee of the Collective Foundation Open Pensio.
Claude Cornioley holds a doctorate in finance from the University of Fribourg (Switzerland) and worked for two years at the University of California at Berkeley as a Visiting Scholar. He has taught at various institutes, such as AZEK or the University of Geneva.
